Either for the sake of scheme or superiority, he gradually sinks into the dark ocean of morbid passion. If Cronenberg spiked it with details, or Lone's face was soft as his butt, I'd fall deeply with Jeremy who again let his gender-confused soul tortured by his own delusion.
As other critics may have pointed, when you're watching a legend of the japanese anime very late, you take the risk that you're gonna be disappointed, since your expectations are too high. It was the case for me. The anime is great though, and would deserve a 4/5.
